Daniel Chang : I walk walking to the corner I walked
Seattle Pacific Art Center Gallery is pleased to present a site specific sculptural installation by guest artist Daniel Chang. In his statement about the mixed media installation Chang shares “I walk walking to the corner I walked is an installation of text, embodied and dislocated in space and form. It is a meditation on the hollow between words on their way to form meaning. It is a reflexive narrative that attempts to hold the tensions of a past, a present, and a future- repeatedly re-contextualizing and disambiguating images of the self like the elusive capture of faith, wanting to hold and be held in the certainty of truth.”
