Bio

Hi my name is Jacquie Estrada! I was born in Seattle, but grew up in Bellingham, Washington! I found myself back in Seattle for school and decided to pursue design. My artistic passions range from acrylics, packaging, to jewelry making.

Artist Statement

I have always adored working with watercolors. Water color not only offers a space where I can unwind and be present, but exercises my skills, strengthening my patience and precision. Drawing realism has been a creative outlet for me since I was young, so I thought it would be a fun challenge to branch out and practice my painting skills. Using watercolor has its difficulties, but just as any other medium, you learn the right balance. These projects not only were inspired by my love for fashion and music, but taught me new ways to execute shadow, texture, emotion, all on a 2D medium.
